Andrew Edwards

Andrew Edwards, Ph.D., is a Principal Member of Technical Staff at AT&T, with over fifteen years of experience in the optical systems and communications industry. They have been recognized as a team motivator and facilitator, contributing to the development of advanced optical and networking technologies. Andrew's expertise includes system engineering, optical design, and network architecture, among other specialties. They earned a Ph.D. from the City University of New York Graduate Center and hold master's and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering from New York University and City College, respectively. Previously, they worked in various engineering roles at companies such as Lockheed Martin, JDSU, and Bellcore.
