Carl Buckmaster is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in network engineering and software development. Starting as a Network Engineer at US Steel from 1992 to 1998, Carl installed and maintained extensive FDDI networks. Carl later joined IBM, serving as a Network Engineer and progressing to a Network Architect, where solutions for large outsourcing accounts were developed from 1998 to 2008. From 2012 to 2017, Carl held positions at AT&T as Technical Director and Senior Network Architect, leading teams to enhance process automation for pre-sales network solutions. Currently, as Principal Software Engineer at AT&T since 2017, Carl directs the development of complex core architectures while establishing software standards and driving innovation through multi-platform development tools. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from Purdue University and several NanoDegrees from Udacity in areas including Android development, AI programming, and cloud development using Microsoft Azure.
