Charles Liu is an accomplished Director of Software Engineering with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. At AT&T since June 2015, Charles has led development teams in creating a customized Android TV-based set-top box for the AT&T TV product, as well as overseeing teams for the Hx2x and Genie series of set-top boxes. Previously, Charles held the position of Senior Manager at DIRECTV from July 2001 to June 2015, where responsibilities included serving as the technical lead for the DIRECTV set-top box middleware HR2X platforms. Charles holds a degree from UC Irvine, where education was completed between 1998 and 2001.
