Heather New is an experienced appellate litigator currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel for AT&T, a role they have held since 2017. Previously, Heather worked as an Executive Director and Senior Legal Counsel for AT&T in 2016, and as a Partner at Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP from 2013 to 2016. Heather began their legal career as a Senior Attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP from 1999 to 2013 and served as a Briefing Attorney to Justice Priscilla Owen at the Supreme Court of Texas from 1998 to 1999.
