Kent Mccammon

Kent Mccammon is a Lead Member of Technical Staff at AT&T, specializing in the development of fiber networks for 5G densification and the convergence of wireless and wireline networks. They have extensive experience in optical systems, having previously worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Kent’s contributions to standards development include serving as an editor for various ITU-T specifications and leading teams in the evolution of broadband access technologies. They hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Fiber Optics and Electro-Optics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
