Matt Carter is an experienced technical architect with a career spanning over three decades, currently serving as the Lead Principal Technical Architect at AT&T since October 2002. Matt's expertise includes leading the development of embedded applications for smart home and home security systems, as well as integrating wireless devices. Prior roles at AT&T include Principal Technical Architect and Contractor, during which Matt contributed to the design and development of network management and service activation applications for broadband and IP television services. Earlier experience includes positions as a Developer at Excite@Home, Objective Systems Integrators, and a Programmer at Datamedic. Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry, completed between 1982 and 1985.
