Michael Hartman

Michael Hartman is the General Counsel and Chief External Affairs Officer at DIRECTV, overseeing legal, regulatory, external affairs, and compliance matters for AT&T’s U.S. pay TV businesses. Previously, they served as Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at DIRECTV and held various legal roles, including General Counsel at Vrio Corp. and General Counsel & Head of Business Affairs at StarMedia Network, Inc. Hartman began their career as an associate in the corporate law department of Debevoise & Plimpton, focusing on international transactions. They graduated from Columbia Law School in 1994.
