Mike Peterson

Mike Peterson is the Vice President of External Affairs for AT&T Texas, where they oversee community and legislative relations and support the passage of the company’s legislative agenda at the Texas State Capitol. With a rich background in elective politics, they previously served as a State Representative in Iowa, co-authoring budget reform legislation that successfully addressed a significant deficit. They also held the position of Chair for the Iowa Democratic Party, where they implemented a message development program and oversaw candidate recruitment. Mike earned a BA in Political Science and a JD from the University of Iowa.
