Rick Hernández

Rick Hernández is currently the Director of Mobile Communications at AT&T, where they lead internal communications strategies and collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging with business goals. They have over 27 years of progressive experience in communications and public affairs, including roles as a Project Coordinator at the State Department and as a System Analyst at DOA. Rick also served as the Coordinator of Volunteers for the Disabled American Veterans, focusing on setting up audio and video systems for events. Educated at Texas Tech University with a Master's in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management, Rick is also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Prior to their current roles, they managed networks at the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division for two decades.
