Roger Smith

Roger Smith, P.E. is a Senior Member Technical Staff at AT&T, where they lead the testing of Broadband Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) products and services. They previously contributed to BellSouth as a Member Technical Staff, focusing on ADSL technologies, and coordinated projects for facility placement as an Outside Plant Engineer. Earlier in their career, Roger worked as a Co-op Power Distribution Engineer at Alabama Power Company and later as a Senior Lab Engineer for a contract with Motorola. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
