Shem Orwenyo has extensive experience in database administration and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as a SQL Server DBA at AT&T since April 2004, Shem brings technical expertise to the organization. In addition, Shem is the Executive Director and Founder of Nuru Center, an IRS registered 503(c)(3) charitable organization since August 2008, dedicated to empowering orphaned and impoverished children in rural Kenya. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Devry University and a Master of Science in Urban Policy Studies with a focus on Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University.
