Ray Depaul

Ray DePaul is an accomplished executive and board member with extensive experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology. Since February 2012, Ray has served as the Executive Director of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Mount Royal University, focusing on developing high-impact talent for Alberta's economic prosperity. In addition to this role, Ray is a board member at Attabotics Inc. and Platform Calgary, and a member of The A100, contributing to the growth of innovation-driven enterprises and supporting tech entrepreneurs in the region. Ray's previous leadership positions include President & CEO of RapidMind Inc., Vice President of Product Management at Kaleidescape Inc., and Director of Product Planning at Research In Motion (RIM), where Ray played a key role in advancing the BlackBerry brand. Academically, Ray holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
