Derek Moen

Derek Moen currently serves as the Head of Product at Royal.io, focusing on building a new ownership layer for the music industry. Additionally, Derek is involved in Strategy & Operations at Attesto, contributing to talent acquisition and operational strategies. As a contributor at Origin Protocol, Derek engages in the Open-Source community, previously holding the position of DeFi Product Lead, where significant contributions included developing the OUSD stablecoin and establishing governance for the protocol. Derek co-founded a DeFi Protocol, managing various operational roles and fundraising efforts. Previous experience includes roles at PayPal, Honey, and a Hedge Fund, where Derek developed product strategies, predictive models, and investment strategies. Academically, Derek holds a B.S. in Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Business Administration from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
