Raquel Calderon has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Software Engineer at Atticus, a mission-driven tech startup. Raquel is involved in reinventing the legal services market and helping individuals receive the aid they are entitled to. Prior to this, they worked at Bluebeam, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they developed cloud-based services and components using React and C#. Raquel also had an internship at Illumina as a Software Systems Engineering Intern, where they analyzed software requirements and understood customer needs. Additionally, they gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Bluebeam Software, Inc., focusing on web app development, and as a Student Developer at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, where they worked on Python crawling and scraping with machine learning. Raquel started their career as a Project Support Intern at Qualcomm Institute.
Raquel Calderon obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego from 2012 to 2017.
