Braden Marshall has worked in the software engineering field since 2013. In 2016, they worked as a CUROP Research Engineer at Cardiff University, co-authoring a paper on Argumentation Theory which was accepted for inclusion in the International Conference on Computational Models of Argument (COMMA) 2018. From 2017-2019, they worked as a Full-Stack Web and Mobile Software Engineer at Theodo UK, building and launching 10+ web and mobile apps using Agile methods, including work on e-commerce platforms, data visualisations, machine learning algorithms and chatbots. From 2019-2020, they worked as a Software Engineer at Thought Machine, where they built and maintained the Operations Dashboard and led an internal migration to Formik. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Attio, leading development and release of the mobile-app and browser-extension which composes the Attio CRM suite.
Braden Marshall attended The College of Richard Collyer from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a GCE Advanced Level in Computing, a GCE Advanced Level in Mathematics, and a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology. Braden then attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2014 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
