David Dam

David Dam, CPA/MBA, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. David started their career as an Auditor at the Defense Contract Audit Agency. David then worked as a Senior Associate at Fineman West & Company before moving on to become a Business Strategy Consultant at GreenStream Network Ltd.

David joined PwC Australia - Deals, Advisory, and Restructuring as a Senior Consultant, where they specialized in pre-lending reviews, contingency planning, valuations, distressed M&A, and turnaround consulting, among other areas. David also managed day-to-day operations and auction sales processes for various property holdings.

At PwC in the US, David served as a Manager in the Management Consulting Practice. David advised companies such as Intel Corporation and ITT Corporation on strategic initiatives and restructuring projects.

David's next role was as Director of Finance/Controller at Tiger Group, where they provided financial services and led multi-billion-dollar deal reporting for retail conglomerates. David built and trained a team of Finance & Accounting professionals responsible for GAAP financial reporting and FP&A.

David then joined Currency as an Interim Chief Financial Officer, where they turned around the distressed fintech start-up in preparation for an audit with a top-tiered CPA firm.

Currently, David works at ATTOM Data Solutions as the Acting CFO, VP of Finance, and EVP of Finance. David joined the PE-backed company to restructure the business and drive enterprise value in the PropTech space.

David obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Business Administration, Accounting, and a minor in Economics from California State University, Los Angeles in 2005. Later, they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Strategy & International Business from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, graduating in 2011. In 2010, David participated in the UCLA/SNU International Exchange Program at Seoul National University. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera in 2017 and various Python-related certifications in 2016.
