Eric Micheals

Eric Micheals has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eric currently holds the position of Chief Underwriting Officer at Attune since November 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Underwriting Officer/Chief Operating Officer at AllDigital Specialty from October 2019 to November 2020.

Before joining AllDigital Specialty, Eric worked at Hiscox USA for a significant tenure starting from May 2009 to September 2019. During their time there, they held the role of Chief Underwriting Officer - Hiscox Partner, where they were responsible for all aspects of underwriting for Hiscox USA. Eric also played a key role in identifying and capitalizing on new distribution and insurance technology opportunities. In addition, they led the Hiscox Underwriting Center, overseeing 30 underwriters handling renewal business and selected new small business accounts.

Eric started their career at AIG in 2001, where they held various roles including Vice President. Eric managed the Technology/Privacy Liability product as a Product Manager and also oversaw AIG Small Business's Professional Liability division. Eric was successful in leading teams and achieving production and loss ratio targets. Additionally, they were involved in implementing AIG's domestic procurement system.

Eric has also gained experience in other industries. In 2000, they briefly served as the Director of Operations at UGO Networks. Prior to that, they worked at BMG Music from 1996 to 2000, where they held the position of Manager, Finance / Operations Analyst. In this role, they managed finances for the manufacturing division, negotiated supplier contracts, and played a key role in implementing a physical archive and developing a recording management system.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated a strong track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and achieving targets in the underwriting and operations fields.

Eric Michaels attended Binghamton University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Additionally, they hold a certification in Insurance Producer, Property & Casualty from the State of New Jersey. The obtained month and year for this certification are not provided.
