Kurt Aper is a seasoned geospatial technology professional with extensive experience in land surveying and mapping. Currently serving as the Geospatial Technology Manager at Atwell, LLC since May 2023, Kurt oversees company-wide geospatial initiatives and implements quality control programs for accurate mapping standards. Prior roles include Director of Geospatial Mapping and Surveying at Weaver Consultants Group, where Kurt mentored staff and established procedures for data collection and processing, and Senior Project Manager, providing expertise in various surveying services. As former President of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association Northeast Chapter and Professional Land Surveyor at Midwest Technical Consultants and Henderson and Bodwell, Kurt has consistently directed teams in the production of diverse surveying projects ranging from residential to commercial developments.
