Atwork
Amanda Amodemo has a diverse work experience. From 2018 to the present, they have worked at Atwork, initially as a Transition Specialist and currently as a Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist. In their previous role, they provided services for the School to Work and Job Foundations program, including assessments and job coaching for individuals with disabilities. Amanda also had management experience and worked with a caseload of 8-15 individuals. Prior to that, Amanda worked as a Para Educator at Cheney School District from October 2017 to June 2018. In this role, they supported children in special education and behavioral support rooms, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment. Apart from their educational experience, Amanda also worked as a Server/Bartender at The Growler Guys from July 2017 to June 2018. In 2016, they worked briefly as a Floor Supervisor for The Associated Press during the presidential election, overseeing staff and addressing any issues that arose.
Amanda Amodemo completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Coaching from Eastern Washington University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Prior to their college education, they attended A.J. Dimond High School from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Amanda has obtained additional certifications including Certified Employment Support Professional™ (CESP) from APSE - Association of People Supporting EmploymentFirst in October 2021, and CPR/AED/First Aid from the National CPR Foundation in June 2022.

AtWork! believes that everyone can be a productive, integrated, and contributing members of their communities. Our program helps to assess an individuals skills and talents, provides training and skill development, assistance in getting a job, job coaching, and support to help people we serve be successful.
