Frank Ko

Frank Ko is the President & Group COO of AUO Corp. They are Chairman of AUO Display Plus since 2021. From 2019 to 2023, they were President & COO of 友達光電 and also held the title Chief Executive Officer. Earlier, they served as Chief Strategy Officer at E Ink Corporation (2013-2014) and as VP, Technology & Strategy Office at AUO (2011-2013), where they led new display technology development and alliance activities. As GM & VP of TVBU at AUO, they led the LCD TV display business’s sales/marketing, product management, and customer service teams with P&L responsibility, and the LCDTV business was WW #1 from 2007-2008 with annual revenue over US$7B; they earned a PhD in Optical and Electronics from National Chiao Tung University (1996-2000).
