Paolo Bruno

Paolo Bruno has a strong background in business development and management, with experience in various companies and industries. Paolo currently holds the position of Global Director of Business Development at AuCom, where they are responsible for overseeing business development strategies. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Business Development for the MEA region at AuCom.

Before joining AuCom, Paolo worked at IGEL Electric GmbH as the General Manager and President of the MEA region. In this role, they managed the Dubai office and was responsible for the profit and loss of the unit. Paolo also handled sales, project management, and commissioning under their local jurisdiction. Paolo successfully built a local team and implemented service activities.

Earlier in their career, Paolo served as the General Manager of the Electrical Division at Jaidah Motors & Trading Co. Paolo also held various positions at ABB, including Sales and Marketing Manager for Export & Channel Partners, Sales and Marketing Manager Gulf, Resident Area Manager Export Sales, Area Manager Export Sales, Product Sales Specialist, and Technical Commercial Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for sales, marketing, business planning, customer relations, and market analysis.

Paolo Bruno earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sales Management from The American University in Cairo from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their degree in Electrotechnical Engineering at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 1989 to 1997.
