Mike has held various leadership roles in organizations such as auDA, Information Integrity Solutions Pty Ltd, Trustworks360, Internal Consulting Group (Global), Cyber Risk Advisors Ltd Pty, EY, Computer Risk Advisors LLC, National Australia Bank, KPMG LLP, and Salomon Brothers. Throughout their career, Mike has focused on providing advisory services, developing risk strategies, and implementing security measures to protect organizations from cyber threats. Mike has also been involved in conducting risk assessments and compliance activities. Mike's expertise lies in privacy, security, and trust, and they have worked with clients globally to address their specific needs.
Mike Trovato has a Graduate (GAICD) degree in Company governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mike also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Accounting, Computer Science from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Science from SUNY Geneseo. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE™), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Mike is also a member of the Australian Information Security Association and has received accreditation as an ICG Accredited Professional from the ICG – Internal Consulting Group (Global).
