Aaron Axelsen is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in music programming, radio broadcasting, and event promotion. Currently, as Head of Programming at ANTHEMIC Agency, FLOOD Magazine, FLOOD FM, and LOUDER (than) BOMBS Productions since February 2021, and an On Air Personality for Audacy, Inc. since June 2023, Aaron has a strong focus on new music and emerging artists. As a co-founder of Popscene Presents, Aaron has played a pivotal role in curating and managing one of San Francisco's longest-running indie/alternative club nights since 1995. Previous roles include Music Director and Assistant Program Director at Entercom from 1995 to 2020, where Aaron liaised with the record community and scheduled daily music logs, as well as positions at Mod Lang Records and EMI Music that focused on artist development and promotional efforts within the music industry. Aaron's educational background includes studies at Chabot College and Brigham Young University - Idaho.
