Chris Kinard is a seasoned professional in sports broadcasting, currently serving as the Sports Format Vice President at Audacy, Inc., since November 2017. In this role, Chris oversees the development and implementation of branding and format strategies for the company's sports division, alongside managing multi-platform content development and production. Prior experience includes positions such as Vice President of Sports Programming and Cluster Operations Manager, and Operations and Brand Manager at Audacy, as well as Program Director for local and national sports radio formats at CBS. Chris began broadcasting career at WJFK-FM and WHFS FM, progressing from roles such as Executive Morning Show Producer to Producer for the nationally syndicated Sports Junkies evening show.
