Gary Sowder

Gary Sowder is a skilled journalist and content creator with extensive experience in news production and writing. Currently serving as a Staff Producer at Audacy, Inc. since April 2022, Gary is responsible for researching and generating news stories, supporting newsroom operations, and conducting and editing interviews. Previously, Gary held roles as a Barista at Peck’s and as a Love and Sex Columnist for The Berkeley Beacon, where Gary produced high-quality articles that became the most-read column in the publication's history. Gary also contributed as a Lead Grammy Award Correspondent, writing predictions and managing social media coverage. A graduate of Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Gary demonstrates a strong background in storytelling across various platforms.
