Michael Lawless

Michael Lawless has worked in the technology and engineering sectors since 1994. Michael began their career as a Software Engineering Manager at SCC, where they were later given responsibility for all three product lines. In 1996, they moved to Printrak International, where they managed the engineering function and was responsible for the development, quality, and engineering support for their three public safety product lines. In 1998, they joined NETdelivery as the Director of Engineering and recruited, organized, and directed the efforts of one of the best product development teams they have seen. This team built the company's flagship ePost product. In 2000, they were recruited to SmartTalk.com as the first member of the engineering team and built a Java and Oracle based, massive-scale messaging application. In 2001, they moved to Hart InterCivic as the Director of Engineering, where they managed a small team of engineers and obtained federal certification of the system. In 2005, they joined Newmerix as the Vice President of Engineering and re-staffed and managed the product development team. In 2008, they moved to Trada, Inc. as the Vice President of Engineering and Operations/COO and helped start the business, managed the development of the marketplace and ran operations pre and post launch. Finally, in 2012, they founded Auddia, a technology company headquartered in Boulder, CO, and developed and leveraged its audio recognition technologies to provide the broadcast radio industry with digital consumer products. Michael is now focused on developing new software technologies and products for audio media companies and consumers of audio media.

Michael Lawless began their education in 1981 at the United States Air Force Academy, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering by 1985. Michael then attended the University of Dayton from 1987 to 1990 and earned a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology. Michael also attended Braintree High School, although the exact dates of attendance are unknown.
