Bernhard Augustin

Bernhard Augustin is an experienced professional in the field of autonomous driving and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), currently serving as the Head of Development and Integration of ADAS/AD Sensors and Compute Platform at AUDI AG since March 2023. Prior to this role, Bernhard held various leadership positions at CARIAD, including Vice President and Director of Development for ADAS/AD Compute Platform from July 2020 to February 2023. Bernhard's extensive experience at AUDI AG spans from July 2004 to July 2020 in multiple roles focusing on compute platforms and sensor data integration for autonomous driving. Earlier career experience includes senior engineering roles at NewLogic Technologies and Multilink Technologies, as well as positions at Infineon Technologies, where Bernhard was involved in ASIC design and product marketing. Bernhard holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Elektrotechnik from the Technical University of Munich, obtained between 1989 and 1994.
