Christian Schmidt has extensive experience in project management and digitalization within the automotive industry, currently serving as Lead Project Manager Digitalization at AUDI AG since November 2012. Schmidt has held various roles at AUDI AG, including P-Application Manager, Capability Owner, and planner for digital manufacturing and information processes. Prior to this, Schmidt worked at SED Flow Control GmbH as the responsible quality assurance manager and briefly at IFA Mess-, Regel- und Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. as an electrotechnician. Initial experience in the field began at Unilever as a mechatronics technician. Educational qualifications include a degree as a State Certified Technician in Mechatronics and Automation Technology from Wilhelm-Maybach-Schule and a vocational training as a mechatronics technician from Unilever Deutschland.
