Dr. Kai Bode

Dr. Kai Bode is a skilled professional in the field of mechanical engineering with extensive experience at AUDI AG since January 2013, currently serving as Team Leader of Systems Engineering focused on Simultaneous Engineering Steering Systems and project management for future battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Dr. Bode has held various roles including Top Management Assistant in Development Chassis and Project Manager overseeing chassis and automated driving projects, as well as foundation brake systems for multiple vehicle platforms. Prior to AUDI AG, Dr. Bode worked as a Research Fellow at TU Braunschweig, specializing in modeling, simulation, and dynamic systems, while also coordinating industry projects and contributing to academic courses. Dr. Bode began the professional journey as a student apprentice at Volkswagen AG, supporting research in pre-crash sensing technologies. Dr. Bode holds a Doktor-Ingenieur degree from Technische Universität Braunschweig, and a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from the same institution, along with experience at the University of Waterloo.
