Jan Wegener has a strong background in data analytics and automotive engineering. Since October 2019, Jan has worked at AUDI AG, focusing on control and methods development for Connected Car Data Analytics. Concurrently, Jan completed a Ph.D. at Universität Stuttgart from October 2019 to September 2022, engaging in data science research related to metadata mining for requirements elicitation. Prior experience includes a role as a bachelor thesis student and intern at Volkswagen AG in the Scene Understanding and Validation department from August 2016 to April 2017. Jan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum, as well as previous education at Paderborn University.
