Lorenz H.

Lorenz H. is an Artificial Intelligence Expert and Project Manager at AUDI AG, where responsibilities include R&D on AI with a focus on deep learning, project management, statistical data analysis, and the development of Petabyte-scale data processing platforms since March 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Physicist in Experimental Particle Physics at CERN from May 2015 to November 2017, where Lorenz was involved in statistical analyses of proton-proton collisions and led the analysis team for MSSM Higgs tautau. Additionally, Lorenz contributed to statistical data analysis and tau reconstruction for the ATLAS Experiment at CERN as both a Postdoctoral and Doctoral Researcher from October 2013 to October 2017. Earlier experience as a Research Intern at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center involved developing fast energy reconstruction for neutrino events. Lorenz holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Experimental Particle Physics from the Graduiertenkolleg "Masse, Spektrum, Symmetrie" and a Diplom in Physics from Technische Universität Dresden.
