Markus Apel

Markus Apel is a seasoned professional in the automotive industry with extensive experience in quality management and product development. Currently serving as a Technical Project Manager Quality at AUDI AG since September 2015, Markus leads projects related to quality in product development for vehicles on the premium platform electric (PPE). Previous roles at AUDI AG include Quality Manager and Product Manager for models Q7/Q8 and the MLB platform. Prior to this, Markus gained experience through an international trainee position at Volkswagen of South Africa and an internship in product management at Porsche. Markus holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Automotive Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Additional research experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the Institute of Automotive Engineering, contributing to advancements in transmission, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
