Markus Steinhauer

Development Engineer

Markus Steinhauer is an experienced Development Engineer at Audi AG since June 2011, specializing in advanced development of gasoline engines and CO2 concepts. Prior to this role, Markus worked as a Scientific Employee at the Technical University Munich from April 2009 to May 2011 within the Institute of Product Development. Markus completed a Master Thesis at BMW focusing on dimensioning and simulation of range extender concepts for a plug-in hybrid architecture between July 2008 and February 2009, and previously served as an intern in lithium-ion battery development at BMW from October 2007 to February 2008. Markus holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University (2002-2008) and a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University (2006-2007).
