Niko Edelmann

Niko Edelmann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and engineering within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer for Safety Parts at AUDI AG since June 2016, Niko leads the procurement of seatbelt systems for the Volkswagen Group, managing substantial contracts and focusing on strategic supplier development. Prior roles include Lead Buyer for Volkswagen AG, where Niko specialized in seat belts, and Development Engineer for safety parts, specifically in airbag components. Niko began the career as a Simulation Engineer at ZF Group and completed a diploma thesis at MTU Aero Engines. Niko holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
