Thomas Manfred Mueller

Thomas Manfred Mueller is currently serving as Executive Vice President of R&D at AUDI AG since July 2023. Previously, Thomas held multiple senior roles at Volkswagen Group China from July 2019 to July 2023, including Member of the Executive Committee and Senior Vice President of Charging and Innovation Center. Thomas has extensive supervisory board experience, having chaired and participated on boards for several companies, including Kaimais New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Volkswagen-Mobvoi. With a solid academic background, Thomas earned a PhD in Physics from Heidelberg University and completed executive programs at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and IMD. Thomas's expertise encompasses infotainment, connectivity, digitalization, and advanced driver assistance systems, among others.
