Thomas Roider

Thomas Roider has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as an eigenschaftsentwickler for electric drive axles and SE-Teamleiter at AUDI AG since March 2007. His project leadership includes significant models such as the Q5 and its electric variants, and Thomas has held various roles in technical project management and development, notably on the EA888 engine and turbocharging for gasoline engines. Prior to his current position, Thomas Roider worked in logistics at Klebl Baulogistik GmbH and completed a diploma thesis on the design of a modular cylinder head for boosted V-engines, achieving a top grade of 1.0. Thomas Roider holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in mechanical engineering with a focus on vehicle technology from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm and has qualifications as a technical draftsman from MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG.
