Ann Heppermann is an accomplished Executive Producer at Audible, Inc. since May 2020, and the Founder of The Sarah Awards which honors international audio fiction. At Sarah Lawrence College, Ann teaches narrative journalism and audio fiction within the MFA program starting from January 2009. Previous roles include Senior Editor for both Complex Networks and Kaiser Health News in 2019, and Senior Producer at Pineapple Street Media, producing acclaimed podcasts. Ann contributed significantly as Senior Producer for multiple shows at Slate Magazine from 2014 to 2017, and as an Independent Producer and Reporter, creating Peabody award-winning stories for various prestigious platforms from 1999 to 2017. Ann's educational background includes a Master's degree in Anthropology from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's degree from Trinity University.
