Catherine Thompson

Catherine Thompson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently serving as the Head of Legal, People and Places and VP at Audible since April 2016, Catherine has played a pivotal role in shaping legal strategies within the company. Prior to this, Catherine worked at Amazon as Sr. Corporate Counsel for Employment from March 2011 to April 2016. Catherine's background also includes notable positions as a Partner at Schiff Hardin LLP and Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP, where expertise was provided in advising employers on labor and employment matters, as well as representation in federal and state courts. Catherine holds a J.D. from Washington & Lee University and a B.S. in Political Science/French from the University at Albany.
