Jonathan Young is an accomplished faculty member at Austin Community College, serving as a Faculty Advisor and Assistant Professor of Drama since August 2019. With experience as a Voice Actor for Audible, Inc. since 2015, and as Artistic Director at TexARTS from February 2023 to February 2024, Jonathan has established a diverse career in the performing arts. Prior roles include acting at Agence and various leadership positions at Georgetown Palace Theatre, including Director and Interim Executive Director, along with teaching roles at Southwestern University and TexARTS. As the founder and CEO of Foothill Hoops from 2003 to 2016, Jonathan created youth basketball programs focused on personal development. Jonathan holds an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dramatics Arts and Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
