Ben Wong has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ben started their career in 1989 as an R&D Engineer at VTech, working on the design of monitors. Ben then moved on to Astec, where they designed power modules for backlighting projects. In 1992, Ben joined Orient Power Video Manufacturing as an R&D Engineer and contributed to the development of the company's first TV models.
In 1993, Ben joined Motorola Semiconductor Hong Kong Ltd as a Senior Engineer of Technical Marketing. Ben provided application support for telecom and power electronic markets, driving ISDN projects and collaborating on the development of ISDN turnkey solutions in China. From 1997 to 1999, Ben worked at Siemens as a Senior Engineer of Technical Marketing, where they played a crucial role in expanding the ISDN business in Greater China.
Ben's career then took him to Infineon Technologies, where they served as the APAC Technical Marketing head and regional product owner for wired communication chipset solutions. Ben achieved significant success in driving VDSL business in Asia. In 2009, they joined Lantiq, an Intel Company, as the Director of Technical Marketing. In this role, Ben led the Access Network BU, focusing on FTTx and xDSL solutions. Ben also played a pivotal role in driving FTTB Voice business in China.
In 2014, Ben shifted to GP Batteries as the Senior Manager of Product Marketing. Their responsibilities included global product marketing for NiMH rechargeable batteries and leading a sales team for the Hong Kong region. Ben also managed key sales accounts and was involved in technical marketing and project management for USB charger family products.
Most recently, Ben joined Audinate in 2015 as the Director of Sales. In this role, they manage APAC OEM Business and Sales accounts, promoting AVoIP Networking Technology in Asia. Ben works closely with OEM/ODM partners to promote Dante solutions and represents the company at trade shows and seminars.
Throughout their career, Ben has demonstrated their expertise in technical marketing, product management, and business development, contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.
Ben Wong obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Northumbria University in 1991. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 1992 to 1997.
