Chamira Perera

Chamira Perera is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and real-time control. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II at Audinate since April 2014, Chamira has progressed from Software Engineer to Senior Embedded Software Engineer. Prior to Audinate, Chamira worked at Carleton University as a Research Assistant, focusing on mitigating jitter effects in real-time systems, and as a Teaching Assistant in computer organization courses. Additional experience includes roles at SMSC, Kleer Semiconductor, Nortel Networks, and Research In Motion, where responsibilities spanned firmware development, software design for LTE and Bluetooth protocols, and test automation. Chamira holds both an M.A.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a B.Eng in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University.
