Paul W.

Paul W. has extensive experience in software development, with a focus on engineering and team leadership. Paul was a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Audinate, where they were responsible for leading a team and overseeing software development projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Development Engineer at eDAQ Pty Ltd, where they managed the full software development process for new products. Paul also served as the Development Team Lead at Applied Physiology Pty Ltd. Additionally, Paul W. has experience as a Software Engineer at ADInstruments, Logistic Regiment Driver in the NZ Army, and as a Demonstrator in the Department of Physics and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Otago. Paul also worked as a Research Assistant during their time at the University.

Paul W. completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Science with a focus on Machine Learning at the University of Otago from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronics from the same university from 2005 to 2006. Their undergraduate education was at the University of Otago as well, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics and Computer Science from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in February 2020.
