Todd Lupton

Todd Lupton has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. Todd is currently working at Audinate as a Software Team Lead since November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Mechatronics Team Lead at AGERRIS from May 2019 to November 2021. In this role, they managed a team of engineers and oversaw the development and commercialization of robots for on-farm operations. Todd also mentored junior team members, managed workload, collated customer requirements, and implemented systems architecture. Todd also worked as a Software Engineer at Baraja for a brief period in 2019.

Before AGERRIS and Baraja, Todd held the position of Lead Engineer at FluroSat from July to December 2018. Todd'sresponsibilities included leading engineering efforts and contributing to the design and development of the company's products. From October 2013 to July 2018, they worked at Nearmap as a Senior Software Engineer. Todd played a crucial role in the design and deployment of a next-generation aerial imaging system and maintained a large-scale automated imagery processing pipeline.

In terms of earlier experience, Todd worked as a Senior DSP Engineer at Cochlear from April 2012 to October 2013. Todd also gained experience as an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Silverbrook Research from March 2011 to March 2012, where they developed firmware for digital pens. Additionally, they have experience as a Control Systems Engineer at Chromasun Inc. from 2008 to 2010 and Solar Heat and Power from 2004 to 2008.

Todd Lupton completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechatronics and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Economics from the University of Sydney between 2001 and 2005. Todd then went on to pursue a PhD in Mechatronics from the same university, which they completed between 2006 and 2010.
