Stuart Last

CEO at Audioboom

Stuart Last has over fifteen years of experience in the media industry, with a focus on audio production. Stuart is currently the CEO at Audioboom, a podcast company that allows users to create, listen to, and share podcasts.

Last began their career at the BBC in 2003 as a producer for The Live Lounge on BBC Radio 1. Stuart then went on to produce visualisation and syndication for BBC Radio 2 from 2011 to 2013. In May 2013, they joined Voxnest as the Executive Producer for BTR, a division of Voxnest that creates original programming for podcasts. Stuart remained in this position until August 2014.

In addition to their work with BTR, Last also developed branded content podcasts for AT&T and Ford. Stuart also launched original content podcasts for key events, including The World Cup 2014 and Super Bowl 49. Lastly, they managed the syndication and audience acquisition strategy for Voxnest, creating new partnerships with digital publishers and optimizing partnerships with iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, Tune-In, and Aha Radio.

Stuart Last completed a BA Hons in Journalism at Bournemouth University School of Journalism. Stuart also attended Leiston High School.
