With over 20 years of experience in journalism, Courteney has developed expertise in investigative reporting, editing for print and broadcast, and producing content such as documentaries and podcasts. They co-founded Small Town Big Crime, known for its acclaimed true crime podcast on Jens Soering and the Haysom Murders, which gained national attention, including features on CBS Mornings and in a Netflix docuseries. Courteney has also served as a host on Newsradio WINA and has held various editorial roles at outlets such as C-VILLE Weekly and CBS19 News, focusing on accountability and social change through storytelling.
