Bill Skinner

Bill Skinner has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bill began their career at Precision Systems, Inc as a Test Engineer from 1991 to 1993, where they defined, wrote, and implemented test plans for an enhanced voice services platform. Bill then joined MCI as a Test Engineer from 1993 to 1997, where they created Network Acceptance Installation and Acceptance plans and performed on-site installations.

From 1997 to 1998, Bill worked at Precision Systems, Inc as a Project Manager, leading variable-sized teams in defining, pricing, and developing product features for an enhanced voice services system. Bill was also the technical interface and lead for an IP-based platform that provided automated 800-based services within MCI's network.

In 1998, Bill joined Ascend Communications as the Director of Software Development for a year. Subsequently, they moved to Lucent Technologies as a Product Development Director from 1998 to 2006. In this role, they managed the product life cycle of a softswitch solution, performed product management duties, and acted as the single point of contact for customers.

Bill then joined Stratus Technologies as a Telco Product Manager from 2006 to 2008, evaluating market trends, creating business cases, and engaging in pre-sales activities. Bill continued their work at Stratus Telecommunications, a separate company from Stratus Technologies, as the Director of Engineering Services from 2006 to 2009. In this role, they managed various customer and partner projects for VoIP solutions worldwide, performed program and project management duties, and provided product management.

Currently, Bill Skinner is working at AudioCodes since 2010. Bill has held roles such as Project Manager, Director of Professional Services for North & South America, and currently serves as the VP Sales Global Services.

Bill Skinner attended Purdue University from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
