Joost van Wijk

Joost van Wijk has had a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joost began their career in 1993 working in sales at Foto Klein, specializing in photography and mobile communication. From 1996 to 2001, they worked as a newsreader and radio host at Stadsradio Rotterdam. In 2007, they briefly worked as a newsreader at RTV Rijnmond. Following this, from 1996 to 2008, they held the role of Senior Account Manager at Trends ICT Groep. In 2009, they transitioned to become the Manager of Partners & Business Development at the same company until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Sales Representative at VCOMM Distribution, a subsidiary of SIPhon Networks. In 2012, they also joined Nuvias Unified Comms as Sales Director for the Benelux and Nordics regions, a role they held until 2020. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as Sales Director Benelux & Nordics at Nuvias Group, where they focused on system integrations for service providers and offered value add services on top of various brands including Polycom, Audiocodes, and Panasonic. Currently, Joost van Wijk is working as a Sales Manager for Service Providers Benelux at AudioCodes since 2020.

Joost van Wijk has a diverse educational background. In 1991, they enrolled at Mercatus College Rotterdam, where they pursued a degree in Commercie, Marketing en Management. Joost completed their studies at Mercatus College in 1996.

Later, in 2001, Joost van Wijk attended Siemens Trainingen for a year, focusing on MS Network Essentials. Following this, in 2004, they joined the Business Opportunity School, specializing in Senior Sales / Consultative Selling. Joost finished their program at the Business Opportunity School in 2007.

In 2015, Joost van Wijk further enhanced their education by attending Pareto Law for Sales Leadership / Management, where they completed a short-term course.

In addition to their formal education, Joost van Wijk has obtained several certifications. In 2012, they received the Siemens Open Communications Associate Large Account Business certification from Siemens Enterprise Communications. In 2023, they obtained the Microsoft Teams Rooms Solution Sales Professional 2023 Exam certification from Microsoft.
