Matan Dascalu

Matan Dascalu is a data engineering tech lead with expertise in Python, SQL, Kafka, AWS, and OSS. Matan previously served as a data engineer tech lead at AudioCodes, where they led the design and implementation of the STT data ecosystem and provided mentorship to team members. Prior to this role, Matan was the analysis team lead at StoreDot, guiding a team in leveraging data for business decisions, and also worked as a data scientist and data engineer developing battery cell predictors and classifiers. Matan holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a data science certification from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
