Robert Trop

Robert Trop has had a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Robert is currently working as a Senior Solutions Engineer at AudioCodes since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Optivor Technologies, LLC as a Sr. Sales Engineer from September 2021 to February 2022.

Before that, Robert held various roles at Johnson Controls, starting as a BWSI Project Development Engineer II from October 2017 to January 2020, where they ensured proactive sales engineering design, development, and profitable growth of building wide systems integration (BWSI) and IT infrastructure. Robert then served as a BWSI Solutions Sales Manager from January 2020 to October 2020, where they designed OT/IT based solutions and supported customers throughout the sales cycle.

From December 2015 to July 2017, Robert worked as a Senior Unified Communications Architect at Prysm Inc. Their responsibilities included performing on-site technical presentations, conducting discovery sessions, and assisting the sales team in delivering technical solutions.

Earlier in their career, Robert held positions at Avaya as a Sr. Systems Engineer from July 2011 to December 2015, IBM as Pre-Sales Technical Support - Avaya from March 2008 to July 2011, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as a Sr. SE from May 2006 to May 2007, and Avaya as a Sr. Systems Engineer from October 1997 to May 2006.

Robert's work experience also includes a role as a Systems Engineer at LANNET Data Communications from 1993 to 1997. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in solutions engineering, sales support, and technical account management throughout their career.

Robert Trop attended DeVry University from 1980 to 1983, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications related to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cloud architecture, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), IT security, IoT, and Talkdesk administration. The LinkedIn platform provided most of these certifications, and they acquired them between 2017 and 2021.
