Daniel Rowland has a diverse and extensive work experience in the audio engineering and music production industry. Daniel is currently the Head of Strategy and Partnerships at LANDR Audio Inc., where they oversee product strategy and leads a team of mastering engineers. Daniel has also held the position of Head of Production Services at LANDR, working on numerous projects for major music groups.

In addition to their role at LANDR, Rowland is the Co-Founder of Audiotool, a company they started in 2022. Daniel is also a Co-Founder of Immersive Mixers, focusing on mixing Dolby Atmos for music, film, and television.

Rowland has academic experience as well, serving as a Professor at Middle Tennessee State University since 2008. Daniel currently teaches classes in Pro Tools, Electronic Music, and Synthesis.

Further in their career, Rowland has been involved in various other roles and projects. Daniel was a Founding Partner at NOIISE, a company specializing in mobile music production apps. As a Producer/Engineer/Programmer, they have worked with prominent musician Adrian Belew, designing their guitar system, engineering/producing their music, and touring internationally. Rowland also has experience as an independent audio engineer, musician, and editor.

Additionally, Rowland has owned and instructed at TheOnlineAudioSchool.com and served as an Instructor at Belmont University and the Art Institute of Tennessee at different points in their career.

Daniel Rowland obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Music Technology from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Daniel further pursued their education by earning a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Music Technology and Recording Arts from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
